The nursery programme promotes further development of the whole child with an emphasis on helping children be more independent, confident, self-aware and regulated by being part of a community that plays and learns together. With these skills, children are able to build meaningful relationships with the people in the community.
The bilingual curriculum is aligned with the values of the Reggio Emilia approach where children will develop an understanding of the many ways one can communicate and express themselves through a hundred different languages. Children will start building competencies in the pre-writing and pre-reading stages. With these increased competencies, children will acquire new knowledge, skills and dispositions as they make sense of the world around them by engaging in rich and meaningful experiences.
